Founded in Paris in 1945 by Carmen de Tommaso, Carven built its name on practical, youthful clothes for postwar women. SSFW documents 51 collections, 2011–2026; a concrete house marker is the 1945 launch of the Ma Griffe perfume, one of its best-known named products.
