Sacai was founded by Chitose Abe in Tokyo in 1999. In 2019, Nike and Sacai released the LDWaffle, a hybrid sneaker that became a widely cited example of Abe’s splice-and-layer method. SSFW archive includes 77 collections, 2010–2026.
